Today marks a major milestone for Prometheus Space Technologies and our global mission to protect the planet. We’re proud to announce the official launch of our Prometheus Fire Guardian – Environmental Disaster Detection Pilot for Queensland, Australia.

Why This Pilot Matters

Across Queensland’s vast and diverse landscapes, environmental hazards can escalate in minutes. Early detection is crucial to saving ecosystems, communities, and critical infrastructure. With this pilot, we’re bringing real-time wildfire and multi-hazard intelligence directly to those who need it most.

What Sets This Pilot Apart?

  • Real-time, satellite-driven hazard detection across Queensland’s regions
  • Continuous monitoring of wildfires, floods, earthquakes, storms, droughts, and more
  • Actionable insights to support emergency services, local authorities, and climate-resilience teams
  • Mission-driven innovation: Turning advanced space technology into a force for planetary protection

A Glimpse of the Pilot in Action

Using advanced detection models and dynamic mapping, the Prometheus Fire Guardian dashboard provides instant visibility into active hazards. The system is currently monitoring 12 real-time events across Queensland—including significant wildfire activity northeast of Laura detected on 28 November 2025.
This is more than just a platform—it’s a step toward a safer, more resilient Australia.

Why Australia?

Australia faces some of the world’s most extreme and fast-changing environmental conditions. Queensland, in particular, is a region where early warnings can dramatically reduce impact. Launching our pilot here is both a responsibility and an opportunity to demonstrate the power of satellite-enabled disaster intelligence.
