Some milestones don’t just mark progress.
They change trajectory.

We’re proud to announce that Prometheus Space Technologies has been selected as one of the three Runners in the ESA Φ-lab Grand Marathon — a Europe-wide innovation challenge focused on AI-enabled Earth Observation solutions for civilian protection.

This isn’t just recognition.

It’s validation.

It’s momentum.

It’s a signal that what we’re building matters.

Why This Matters

The ESA Φ-lab Grand Marathon is designed to accelerate breakthrough technologies that harness Earth Observation and AI to detect short-lived hazards and deliver near-real-time, trusted insights for civilian protection .

In simple terms:

Better data.
Faster decisions.
Lives protected.

The program runs from October 2025 to June 2026, guiding selected teams through structured milestones — from MVP development to high-fidelity prototype demonstrations and final pitching on an international stage .

Out of all applicants across Europe, only three teams were selected to continue.

We are one of them.

What Happens Next

Over the coming months, we will:

  • Develop and expand our MVP

  • Refine and scale our AI-enabled Earth Observation solution

  • Demonstrate real-world use cases in operational scenarios

  • Pitch at major ESA events, including international showcases

This journey culminates at the Hello Tomorrow Summit in Amsterdam in June 2026 — where the final winner will be selected.

But for us, the mission is bigger than the stage.

Why Prometheus. Why Now.

At Prometheus Space Technologies, we believe space data shouldn’t sit in archives.

It should move.
It should think.
It should act.

Civil protection teams don’t need more dashboards.
They need trusted intelligence — fast enough to matter.

Our work sits at the intersection of AI, Earth Observation, and real-world operational impact. Being selected by ESA Φ-lab confirms that this intersection isn’t just promising.

It’s necessary.

This Is Just the Beginning

We’re entering the next phase with focus, urgency, and ambition.

To our partners, supporters, and team: thank you.
To ESA Φ-lab and the Grand Marathon jury: we’re ready.
To the communities we aim to serve: we’re building for you.

The marathon has officially begun.

And we’re running to win — not for the prize, but for the impact.
